Method 1: Run Origin client as administrator access

Some applications have compatibility issues with the Windows registry. Please make sure that your origin client version is compatible with your system before installing it. It’s also a good idea to look into other compatibility issues before fixing an application if it’s not launching correctly.

Step 1: You have to access origin properties. To do this, right-click on the origin icon on the desktop or in the start menu. Then select properties.

Step 2: Now go to the compatibility section and find Run this program as an administrator option.

Step 1: Close the Origin client completely. Open task manager and verify that origin is not running in the background.

Right-click on the taskbar and select task manager. Shut down origin process if running.

Then type %ProgramData%/Origin and press enter.

Step 3: Delete all the folders except LocalContent.

Step 4: Again press Win + R and then type %AppData% > presse enter.

Here you have to delete the Origin folder.

Go to the local folder from the navigation bar and then delete the Origin folder from here.

Restart your PC.

Method 4: Reinstall Origin

First, you have to uninstall the older origin app from your system.

Step 1: Go to the control panel. (open start menu and then search for control)

Step 2: Go to the uninstall a program option and then delete origin.

Step 3: Go to Program Files and AppData to delete all folders related to origin in the system drive.

NOTE: Do not delete game folders. You can copy game files to a different location.

Step 4: Reboot your PC.
